I can not wait. RedBull rampage 2010 is broadcast live over the internet on Sunday the 3rd of Oct. If your unaware, imagine a desert, swarming with canyons, vertical drops and cliff faces. Now imagine all the best riders from all over the world there on one day. Now imagine a brand as big as Oakley sponsering the event. Whoever goes the biggest get the prize.
52% of days in the UK are overcast, grey and miserable.
Today is no acceptation. Yesterday was also just as dull, until Jay, Sam and myself went off roading/green laning in Jays pick-up, amazing fun, winching a half tonne truck up a hill using a small bush, the only thing close enough for the reach.
This is very much a favourite to my music pallet at the moment. Have a taste.
Went very briefly to a rockabilly night tonight, it was pretty awesome to see the rocking grandads grease back there thinning quiffs, dust off the custom embroidered baseball jackets and tap there feet and kanes to the sound of a double base. A culture lost.
“All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible.” - Thomas Edward Lawrence
I would like to think im one of those dangerous men. My eyes are always open.
Love this video, the solid aspect of community and smiles. Contagious.
I am an underline gone wrong.
I've come to believe religion is and has been the most destructive and pathetic thing ever embraced by mankind, how a ridiculous and unproven belief with no logic can destroy so much. Yet people feel obliged to embrace it. I shouldn't type my mind.
After a movie the dark bit usuallly rolls credits, would it be cool if, when you sleep it went a little something like.
The Lomo Spinner 360, you can take 360 full panoramic pictures! looks amazing fun. I've just ordered myself an Holga 135BC. Need to get something fresh in the mix of things, so this may prove exciting.
Following on from my previous post, 'good day/bad day song' I've figured this could very much change daily. Right now though :
Good day, the 3.08 mins that can maintain the best moods, adore this song.
Bad day song, a song that can turn around a bad day maybe. OR a song that can relate to your bad ways, i dunno, but this song feels fitting.
It's only going to look like that once though i guess.
Same location, 4 different nights.
I listen to radio 6 too much. They have this 'good day / bad day' thing happening where someone rings in, describes a good day and bad day song, then request one depending on there day so far. I'm going to find you my 2 for tomorrow.
This is okay though. Cearsws last weekend in Wales, It still hasn't left my head, miss it already, amazing place. Wales is good.
I had this song in my head the majority of the weekend, whilst star gazing and climbing the mountain at 10 on Friday evening in the dark. Have a go. Oceans 11 is also up there with the best films, period.
A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him. - David Brinkley
As your age progresses alcohol consumption becomes a more frequent regime. And when you compare a baltic drunk persons actions with actions of kids, lets say in a playground, there is a lot of similarities. The way i see it and the theory i have, drinking to reach this state is a means to most people to realise that fun you once had. Its quite sad really.
I'm not drinking again. lets face it, it all tastes pretty disgusting. And i don't need it to achieve an enjoyable state of mind.
