The past couple of weeks have been a blur of constants.

Severe lack of my own time, down time, or even time to sit back and chill, catch up and talk to people. I've just woke up from sleeping for 12 hours. It was long needed. I would say I'm feeling fresh and ready to go. But I'm not. Anyhow.

Moping about is a bit mundane. Theres an imperfect balance, I don't like to be made a fuss of, but i don't like to be forgotten. I don't want to pressure people into doing anything they don't want, and i don't like to be responsible for anyone's disappointment. 

Celebrated my birthday with 3 people. What i would have given to have had a lot of my friends there. The issue was asking them and the thought of making them feel bad if they couldn't make it. So i kept quiet. Probably hoping they would see what i was doing. My mind works in weird ways. 

After all it isn't quantity but quality, and those people who i did see were quality. Hey Ho. It's how it goes i guess

Just wanted to get that off my chest.

I have a lot of different social groups, although i swim in and out of them when i can I'm no core member of a social group, or 'core' enough to be involved. So a lot of the time I'm sat. Here. Or on my bike. My friends.

Shut up you drag.

Yesterday i went to see Bjork live in Manchester, it certainly was different, and like nothing I've seen before, incredible. Sadly no photos were aloud. She finished by singing my favourite Bjork song at the moment.

Mayhem

24 hour mountain bike race around a course 90% uphill and roughly 10miles long.

Quite possibly one of the hardest things i have ever done.

And best things i have ever done.

I could certainly get used to races like that, the people, the atmosphere and the effort and perseverance. i like to push myself.

Last week was also spent seeing a great friend and inspiration at certain intervals when i had time. Some people are blissfully unaware of there amazing energy and presence. This unapparent modesty makes them so fantastic. 

I was never good at creative writing at school. School. What a joke. Ha. Now i seem to enjoy it.

Watching Forrest Gump fills me with inspiration, close to getting up and disappearing on my bike for a short age. Spending time with such inspiring friends only adds to this. Beautiful.

Went to Playzone with a load of friends, think, giant padded warehouse. Mega fun. Slush puppies on sale too! A lot smaller than i remember though.

If you've read this drone long enough then you may have seen a picture posted a good long while ago of a chair i wanted. I went in to look at this chair, my chair, for the last time yesterday. The shop keeper, probably sick of seeing me offered it to me for 1/3 of the price, i think he was sick of me coming in. It's now mine.

This Blog is really bearing the grunt of my ever hectic schedule sadly.

The past couple of weeks have been mad, busier than I've ever been and everythings in more demand. I'm trying to look back for something worth writing about, but, I just recieved a facebook message off a good freind that has put a lot into perspective.

The person in question has happily put a restraint on the recent inhibitions on how to spend my free time, almost settled me down to myself once again thankfully. In a very casual messgae he first asking how i am  he later goes on to very casually tell me he hasn't been in touch as he's just given a kidney to one of his mates. Incredible.

Its people like this who inspire you beyond belief. After reading that message i jumped to my feet and have been smiling and motivated since.


Well, since my last blog It's been a pretty mundane couple of weeks. As i say, just work. As sad as it sounds i had to look at my 'instogram' app on the phone to look for exciting thingsi may have done, to no avail.

Well.

Last weekend was pretty damn amazing. Went to see Uncle Snowy and watch the Floyd / Roger Waters 'The Wall' tour. Pretty mind blowing. Seriously.

 

We went to the 'family and friend guest room' greeted by a nice hamper and table of refreshments.

We then got treated to a backstage tour just before the show.

It's funny how my last post was about Charisma. There was so much of it swimming about that night, all rightfully so aswell. Brilliant.

Is a great bit of radio i was listening too this morning, 16 mins long, but really, its great, the pinnacle being 'The sound of sunshine' 5 minutes in. Happy.

Went to Crash Doubt festival weekend just gone. It was interesting, I'm finding it hard to say i had a 'great time' the music wasn't at all too my taste, although company was good. Smiles and good times.

What does it mean when your constantly tired? It's not at all fun, hopefully the doctors can tell me whats going on tomorrow, it's getting in the way, 12 hours sleep and knackered after 4 hours. Not to mention the fact blogging time is being swapped for sleeping times.

I've been watching a lot of propaganda videos recently, videos that question everything we are told or fed from the news, by people in power.

Its quite alarming, certainly eye opening and entails you unable to watch the news again without questioning everything, murders, money issues, government quibbles, even football scores. But i like it. It's almost like an inside peek of whats really happening, I've read the blurb on the back of the 'real world' book and assuming the story inside.

Really looking forward to this weekend, its a Lincoln small 2 day festival, and in all honesty i haven't heard of many bands, nor am fussed about hearing them, its the atmosphere I'm looking forward too, having lots of friends in one place. Fun times.

Blogs are few and far between at the moment, apologies, lots going on lately. When i do write one though, i try make it matter.
